10/26/21

 Today in class we did have a bell ringer. We read pages 46-50 of the color purple. We found out more about Celie and Mr has changed a lot. Then we did a worksheet on some of the things we read about and that it.

 So today in class we just took a test. Our test was on the last few poem we had read in class. The first part was real smooth and easy but the second part was just confusing. The first part was multiple choice so I figure it wasn’t going to be to hard. I made a 92.  The second part was constructive response it was two and they really just didn’t make since to me that’s why i was confused. Overall that’s all we did in class today.

8/18/21

 Today in class first we did a warm up on advice. The warm up stated name a time when your mother gave you advice and what was it. The warm up of course connected to lesson for the day which was reading a poem by Langston Hughes called “Mother to Son”. We split up into two groups and read the poem and analyze and made connections. At the end we went over it and each group presented.

Introduction

 Hey my name is Tyasia Simmons and I’m in 11th grade. Some of the things I like to do is make money and go shopping. One of my expectations for this school year is to have all a’s and b’s the entire time both semesters. Another one of my expectations is to turn all my assignments in on time. My last expectation for this school year is to just enjoy it and don’t over work myself.
