 Today we did have a bell ringer again. We just did a little group active on the color purple. We read the color purple as a class and complete the assignment. Some interesting we found out in the book is that Mr followed Nettie when she was leaving town and tried to rape her but Nettie hurt him enough to get away and Mr said that since she did that Celie would never get to read the letters Nettie would write to her. 

Today we did have a bell ringer again. We just did this reading assignment about teens not being in a rush to get there drivers license. Then we had to draw about what we read. I definitely agree that teens aren’t in that big of a rush to get there drivers license. I think as soon as your able to get your permit you should. So that when it’s time to get your drivers license you can. You’ll be on time and not be 20 or something trying to get them because it’s already a time process to get your actual drivers license.

 Today in class we did have a bell ringer. We read pages 46-50 of the color purple. We found out more about Celie and Mr has changed a lot. Then we did a worksheet on some of the things we read about and that it.

 Today I didn’t go to school today so I really don’t have nothing to talk about. I just got caught up on my work in the class that I needed to. I have to finish my project and that’s it. I’ll be at school tomorrow so I might have more to write about.

 So today I wasn’t at school I was on a girl trip with rotc. We went to the College Football Hall of Fame. That was fun we go to see different colleges and they had other interesting stuff there. Then we went to the CNN center to eat. After that we went to the Varsity because a few people want to eat that instead. So in the middle of trying to park at the Varsity the bus driver hit a pool so we got into a mini accident. So we had to wait literally 3 and a half hour for the police to come. We couldn’t get off the bus it was hot everybody was irritated it was just a lot we didn’t even get to finish some of the other stuff for the trip. That was really it but we had fun the first part of the trip.

Today we did a warm up on what does it mean to be a male and what does it mean to be a female. We shared some of our explanations and then had a discussion about it. After that we just took notes.

 Today we did a bell ringer on what we thing happinesses is. After we discussed that as a class we start reading the color purple. Then we got a assignment on the few letters we read so far and that was all.
